Our little Friend

Unfortunately our new dog didn't work out.  We had him checked out by our Vet before we made everything final and he had 2 bad knees.  The vet told us he would need surgery and it cost about $2500.  We felt that because we would not be able to do this, it would be best for him to find a family that would be able to help him this way.  We will keep looking and hopefully find another pet in the future.  We did like him and will miss him, even though we only had him a short time. 

New Family member

We have a new addition to our family.  Most of you know that our dog of 14 years died about a year and a half ago.  We have waited for a time before getting a new dog, but recently saw a dog at the Farmers Market and decided to give a new one a try.  So....today we have adopted a dog from a rescue group and his name is Calvin.  This was already his name when we found him and we felt it was fate that he should become our next dog. (Our last dog was Hobbes) He is still a little shy, and we feel he will soon steal everyone's heart.
