Merry Christmas

Wishing all our family a Merry Christmas and also wishing we could all be in one place today. Abner was front and center during a portion of the Christmas Eve service at P&V's church - when all the children were brought to the stage. The speaker was using him as a little object lesson with the kids as to how Christ came as a baby. Parker commented that we should maybe lower the bar some with the comparatives.

The temperature has come up some and the snow has been falling from the trees in clumps. Helen and I took a nice long walk yesterday - a really beautiful neighborhood.

A,S&M - we'll do the digital later today. Try not to eat too much - but if you do have someone burp you.

A Blast (Arctic) in Portland

Helen and I are enjoying a beautiful baby boy and an unbelievabe winter storm here in the northwest (mom & dad are pretty cool too) . Abner C is on a pretty good schedule with the eating and sleeping (which means V is busy) and I feel fortunate to have flown in yesterday without a problem. Hundreds are stranded at the Portland airport. They're saying this is the largest winter storm in the area since '68, as far as snowfall. P, V and I played in the snow for a while as Ab and Helen watched from inside. We may venture out tomorrow - but the main activity is indoors with you know who.

YEA BABY, HE'S HERE !

Abner Clealon Campbell is out and about.  God blesses every day but at times he simply blows you away - and a grandson is that kind of thing.  Helen and I are getting by on digital fixes for now but counting the days 'til our trip to Portland for a nice long Christmas babyfest.  This is one beautiful boy don't you think?
