Portland Visit

I just came back last night from a wonderful, short, working vacation to visist the "Kids".  I have the priviledge of being asked to come and help with preparing for the move.  Unfortunately, it didn't happen as fast as they'd liked, but I was still able to assist in some small ways.  I mostly got to play with my beautiful grandson, and did a little cleaning on the side at the new place.  (For pics of the house check out their blog because my pics will only be of them)

Home & About with Mom & Dad C

A very special week just passed (too quickly).  Helen and I and Stephen and Marissa spent some fun days and evenings with my parents.  It's a rare host that can squeeze in trips to a cemetery and the dump, but you give Helen and I some time to plan and we can come up with and itinerary.  (Unfortunately no pics of the dump or of Dad winning a dance contest on a talk show)

Granny and Grandpa C continue to hold our entire family in a way that lets us rest and reach, learn and teach.  God continues to bless this pair.

Mother's Day

We want to wish all a happy Mother's Day.  To our mothers, sisters, daughters-in-law we send our love and pray that you had as wonderful a day as we did.  As you can see I received some beautiful gifts and ate some tasty food.  Thank you to my sons for the gifts, calls and well wishes.  I love you!  You have made my life very precious and meaningful and I thank God daily for you.

Stephen's BDay Celebration

Stephen's birthday was Saturday, his 24th.  God has blessed us with a beautiful family and we are thankful that we can live close to some of them and enjoy their company.  We can't believe how fast time flies, but Stephen is a wonderful man and we are so very proud of him.
