Sorry, but I didn't make it very long. I have bought my first granddaughter's outfit. I followed Mom's instruction and stayed away from the pink. So here it is:
Hippie girl jeans and Peasant top, and of course, a ruffled onesie.
Helen and I spent a 4-day weekend with PV&A+ and enjoyed the sun and lots of outdoor time. Abner is growing too fast and is already out-smarting us (the A+ reference was for the August addition but could also apply to him). We laughed so much! It's just too much to get the "catch up" look from your year-and-a-quarter grandson. We hung around the house and enjoyed the yard, played at some chores and walked to the near-by park. We also took in a nice hike on Friday and walked the east side of the river on Saturday (across from downtown Portland).
Let's not leave out a trip to the toy store where the main purchase was a wagon for Abner. Let's just say we broke it in. God is so good at letting us know that love starts with the smallest of things - but grows and grows.
