Helen and I celebrated her 55th with a brunch at Stephen, Marissa and Aaron's house. Excellent food (recommend the pluots - a hybrid plum/apricot). We also skyped with PVA&A which is always entertaining with Abner demonstrating he can call all aunts/uncles by name.
All the kids pulled a fast one (a very nice one actually). They presented Helen with a variety of packaged English food as a teaser and then informed us that they are purchasing air fare for us to visit London for our 35th anniversary (coming in March 2011). We are both excited and very thankful for such a generous family. As many (I use the term loosely) of you know Helen had surgery on Thursday and is still hurting some but getting a little better each day. We moved her travel to Oregon back until Saturday and I'll follow her on Thursday, the 2nd.
