I arrived home on Tuesday afternoon to a whirlwind of excitement and worry. Instead of seeing Ken when I arrived, Marissa had to drop everything and pick me up. Ken had an attack of kidney stones on his way to the airport and had to be put in the hospital. We have managed to go all our married life (32 years) without either of us or any of the boys being in the hospital. Needless to say, we are unaccustomed to the noise and rules of this lifestyle. Ken did not adjust well. BUT, I have him home now, and even thought the thought of a kidney stone is still on the horizon (he hasn't passed it yet), we are trying to get our lives back to normal.
We appreciate all your prayers, now and in the future as we deal with this impending pain that is to come when he finally does decide to let it go...so to speak.
